So after the entire Facebook wars and losing out to Microsoft, Google drops a devastating Peoples Elbow by announcing that Myspace, Bebo, and SixApart are joining up with Googles OpenSocial.
This news is huge - it’s basically saying that every other social networking site is teaming up to join the fight against Facebook.
Should be interesting to see how this plays out. What does it mean for average Joe? Nothing really except OpenSocial should be pretty cool.
What it means for Facebook is they are either going to have to come up with some great gimmicks or be forced to join the OpenSocial project.
